Marcus Loves Alexandria

No matter how hard Mother Nature tried, the most genuine smiles radiating from both Marcus and Alex could not be erased. Alex's dream wedding was in full swing and she wasn't going to let a little thunder and rain ruin it. Her dreams came to life thanks to the help of an amazing vendor team! (check them all out at the bottom of the page) The first time I met Alex I asked her to describe her vision and style to me and her eyes LIT UP lol she told me about flowers, flowers, flowers everywhere. We instantly clicked with our love of minimalism, feminine details, and laid back personalities. She and Marcus became husband and wife in an old bank vault amongst all the flowers a girl could imagine, with their closest friends and family on July 14th 2018.

This couple has a STORY and I’m so proud that I could be part of it. As my own mother so eloquently put it after looking at the sneak peaks, “there’s just something different about them. You can tell they REALLY love each other” At first I was beaming at the sound of the compliment but then it dawned on me, I had nothing to do with it. The love and emotion that comes through in these photos is 100% the rawness of their day, I was just the one pressing the button. The tears that streamed down Marcus’ cheek when he saw his blushing bride walk down the aisle, Real. The overwhelming moment Alex had when she first saw herself in the mirror as a bride, Real. The laughs, and connection with friends and family, Real. The cotton candy colored sunset after the days thunder storms, Real. I can’t tell you enough how real these two are and I respect that so much about them. They held nothing back! They both were all in on their marriage and I’m on next level excitement for them.

Look out world because the Johnson’s are the REAL DEAL.
