Daniel Loves Jacie

When I first received Jacie’s wedding inquiry it immediately resonated with me. She said we want short, sweet, and full of Jesus. To which I said uhhhhh where do I sign up?! If that isn’t exactly up my alley then I don't know what is! Jacie and Daniel’s day was exactly as she described. It was equal parts about them, about their framilies (friends + families), and about their faith. I loved getting to know these two incredible humans, learning more about their relationship, and how God moved in their lives to bring them together.

Wedding Day Highlights:

Their wedding was held in the beautiful backyard of a family friend. It was hot but the rain held off and I think we were all thankful for that. We shot their first look at The Nelson Atkins Art Museum and Daniels reaction to seeing his bride may have been my favorite of all time. I felt EXTRA special when they took me to the place where Daniel first laid eyes on his now wife. We even reenacted that moment and it was seriously the SWEETEST THING EVER. Listening to them say their vows was extremely powerful as they both vowed to love God first and the other second. I could have cried when the friends and family gathered around to lay hands and pray over their marriage directly after the ceremony. An intimate reception was later held at Summit Grill, where Jacie and Daniel publicly told stories and shared their love for EACH person in attendance. These are just the highlights of what made August 4th truly magical. This couple is one I have full confidence will do great things for His glory and I can’t wait to see more of their story unfold.

Congrats you two love birds, I’m honored to have been part of your best day.

Always with Love,

Jill
