Your engagement photos are a special time in your relationship. They're a time to slow down and rest in the place you're in, being engaged. They're a time to reflect on where your relationship has come and where it still has to go. We talk about your wedding plans, what you're looking forward to as a husband or wife. But we also talk about why you want to marry this person, how you knew, the feeling they make you feel when they walk into a room. We relive the highest point of your relationship by telling from both points of view how he asked. And sometimes we revisit special spots that tell part of the story for us.
This is what we decided to do for Annie and Edward's engagement session. After Edward surprised Annie with a thoughtful day full of clues leading her to the ultimate question, they celebrated with friends and family at Stock Hill restaurant in Kansas City. We went back to Stock Hill for cocktails as our first stop for photos. They enjoyed some delectable drinks and just soaked in the memories that this place holds for them. We enjoyed the remaining fall leaves on the trees of the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum and strolled other parts of the KC Plaza. We popped some prosecco and watched the sunset in their KU colors. I couldn't have asked for a better night nor a better couple to spend that night with.

Edward + Annie, I cannot wait for 2019!!! Thank you so much for choosing me to be part of your big day. Bring on the festivities!
Always With Love,
Jill Caren Stuefer
