This weather has been unpredictable to say the least. But sometimes you throw on your rain boots + rain jacket and you risk it! And that's exactly what Braden, Alyssa, and I decided we would do out at Shawnee Mission Park this past week. Full transparency, we DID get rained on!! But the rain passed and the most beautiful sunset came out to wow us.
I'm so thankful for clients who are willing to put all their trust in me. Not everybody would be very keen on chancing their engagement photos with these kind of weather odds. But my couples continue to shock me with how much they're willing to lean into whatever our time together ends up looking like. Not all sessions are the same. Not all couples are the same. Why should I try to squeeze you into a box you don't fit in?
I can't wait for Alyssa and Braden to tie the knot this December, and I'm so honored in the trust they've placed in me.
