A Blush and Navy Kansas City Themed Wedding at the Everly Event Space

As part of my pre-wedding day questionnaire, I always ask my couples "What is the most anticipated moment of your wedding day?". Renee's answer made me melt:

Honestly, the time away from everything with the sunset pics before the party really starts with Ty to soak everything in, to be like WOW we are finally married, all of these people are here for us, all of our things we "have to do" are done. and then we party! i'm really excited for the reception! I want to soak in each moment from the time with the girls to the little moments with my parents to moments where it just feels like Ty and I to the party with everyone dancing!

For Renee, it wasn't just ONE moment she was looking forward to, it was the entire day! All the little moments were as special to her as the big ones and anything in between. She and Tyler were ready to soak up their wedding day from start to finish and were determined to enjoy every second of it. It's funny because if you know this couple, you know that mentality directly represents both their personalities so well.

One of the things that stood out to me the most on Tyler and Renee's wedding day was their attention to detail. The couple would soon be moving to another state after their wedding day to start their careers but Kansas City held an incredibly special place in both their hearts. Because of this, they outfitted the Everly Event Space with little details about their dating relationship and it's tie to Kansas City. Their tables were named after some of their date locations or favorite spots around town. Their guest book was a large Kansas City skyline wall hang. They incorporated photos from the history of their relationship, notes from monumental moments, supplied local food and drink, and really represented how they see this beautiful city. These details were rooted so much deeper than ordinary details. They told the story of how Tyler and Renee came to be and invited all of us in attendance to join in and witness their past, their present, and their future.

Tyler and Renee, you guys know I love you from the bottom of my heart! It brings me so much joy keeping up with all that you're both doing in Iowa and I'm so proud to have been a part of not only your wedding day but your story! Cheers to you guys!
