Romantic Emerald Wedding at Loose Mansion in Kansas City

"COVID was not the theme. Did it impact our day? Absolutely but it did not define it. Love, marriage and commitment defined our day."

- Tara Baker (visit this link to read her full inspiring post!)

I feel like I'm truly blessed by each one of my couples. Tara and Robby are absolutely a perfect example of this sentiment. I mean THAT QUOTE. She challenged and inspired everyone she knows and really all of the internet with this beautiful post about her July 2020 wedding day. Yes, originally it should have been in March and COVID did impact them as she said, but in no way did Robby and Tara allow COVID to define their day.

Robby and Tara were my first rescheduled wedding due to the craziness that is 2020. But since day one I never doubted their wedding day would be anything short of magical. Both their attitudes were bright and full of grace. They were careful of the safety of others and made decisions for the greater good, all while keeping the heart of their wedding day true. If you take nothing else away from this strikingly beautiful blog, I pray you can take away hope. Hope that your wedding day dreams are valid and you can achieve them even in the middle of chaos. Hope that joy can be found on your wedding day if you keep the heart behind your decisions true to what you as a couple believe. Hope that nothing can define you other than what you choose to define you.
