Wedding days are full of beautiful memories from start to end. But My biggest memory from Brooks and April's wedding day would be the unspeakable joy that just enveloped the day. Their wedding day was one of the warmest September Kansas City Saturdays I've ever known, yet you truly wouldn't know it by looking at these photos. What you can see are some of the most genuine laughs and smiles you'll ever see! I also personally loved a special moment during their ceremony where the couple invited their bridal party and family members to write letters of advice, encouragement, and love and place the letters in a personalized wine box for the couple to later read. Ceremonies with these types of touches always get me and absolutely uphold my desire to work with couples who are full of creativity, intimacy, and deeply understand what marriage is.
What I also loved about this day was working with an outstanding team of vendors. These details maybe some of my personal favorites from the 2020 wedding season. From the dusty blues, soft neutrals, pampas grass galore, personalized hand sanitizers, romantic candlelight, and the truly stunning natural backdrop of our venue, Barn at River Bend, we were destined for a Pinterest perfect day. And April & Brooks vendor team totally slayyyyed!
