My Approach
If you’re looking for a photographer to show up and get traditional, posed, smiling “Pinterest perfect looking” photos, we might not be the best fit. And that’s okay. If you’re shopping around trying to find the most budget-friendly deal, we might not be the best fit. And that’s also okay because you deserve to have a photographer on your wedding day that will fit exactly your needs. But to be completely honest with you, my heart is to be more than just a person with a camera or an item to check off your checklist.
Couples never realize how big of a role their photographer plays until the day is over. You don’t realize it now while you’re so focused on centerpieces, colors, florals, and even you’re guest list! But I'm telling you now, your photographer not only spends the ENTIRE day with you, but the art they produce becomes more valuable over the years. All that to say, choose someone you connect with. Someone who sees you as the truly incredible couple that you are. Someone whom you’d enjoy spending the best day of your life with.
When choosing me, I'm investing my whole self in your day. I only take on a limited number of clients every year so I can honor what each couple is entrusting to me. Not only am I investing my time to assist you throughout the planning process, and the day of, my creativity and expertise, but I'm investing what I value most, my faith. I'll be praying for you and the marriage you're going to create. I'll be speaking life into your soon-to-be marriage because young couples don't hear enough that MARRIAGE IS AWESOME. I'm going to paint the best picture I can of how fulfilled you both can be in this new calling.
My Priorities
I like to prioritize many things throughout your wedding day but here is what I value most:
1. Honoring Your Timeline & Requests - Ensuring that I capture all the moments and details we've discussed before your wedding day. We'll have many chats, and create a specific photo timeline based on a detailed questionnaire you will fill out to help me gather all the important information I need to make your day flawless. No need to fret about getting all the moments, supplying a shot list, or missing certain family portraits! If you're worried at all just ask to see a full gallery and I'd be happy to share what a wedding day from start to finish looks like when working with me.
2. Lighting & Authenticity - I love to recommend and give insights into different lighting scenarios. This insight comes in handy when we're creating your timeline! Lighting plays a huge role in the outcome of your final images. With my editing style, I try very hard to keep colors as authentic to your wedding day as possible. My Pricing Philosophy
My pricing structure is simple and meant to be transparent. However, the philosophy behind it is much more intentional. Your wedding day goes SO fast. My wedding day was a beautiful blur. Over my last 7 years of working in the Kansas City and destination wedding photography industry, there's one thing I noticed my clients truly needed from me, my undivided time. I want to document your story unpressured by a rigid photo schedule. I offer full-day coverage options that include a minimum of 10 hours of wedding day photography, covering all the moments of your day.

Send a message with the best booking news ever! Sign your proposal, pay your 30% retainer and first 10% service fee.
