Destination weddings often operate differently than traditional weddings in the United States. Resort coordination teams are typically focused on venue logistics, while much of the timeline flow, lighting decisions, and real-time adjustments naturally fall to the photography team.
With experience documenting weddings abroad — including celebrations in Mexico and Costa Rica — I’m comfortable navigating those dynamics. From advising on ceremony placement based on daylight, to adjusting timelines as needed, to moving efficiently across expansive properties, I step in where necessary so the day continues to feel seamless.

Rooted in Kansas City, I accept a limited number of destination weddings each year — typically no more than five — so that every celebration receives the preparation, presence, and leadership it deserves.
Destination weddings take many forms. Some are intimate elopements tucked into mountain landscapes. Others are multi-day celebrations with 150+ guests gathering along a coastline or in a historic city abroad. Whether domestic within the United States or international, each proposal is approached with the same level of intention and care.
I’ve documented celebrations from the Colorado mountains to the coasts of Mexico, from Midwest cities to international destinations including Iceland, Jamaica, and Costa Rica. Each environment brings its own character and complexity — and with that comes the need for experience, adaptability, and thoughtful planning. Destination wedding collections begin at $2,500, not including travel accommodations. Every proposal is custom-tailored based on location, coverage needs, and travel logistics.
