You don't have to live on the stunning 26th floor of a building overlooking Forest Park in St. Louis to have a beautiful in-home engagement session, but it certainly doesn't hurt! Michael and Sammy invited me into their trendy apartment on a sunny Friday evening for laughs, beers, snuggles, and all the cute pics I could ask for. Their floor to ceiling surrounding windows were more than epic for watching the sunset and overlooking the gorgeous gem that is Forest Park. They shared stories with me about new adventures of living in St. Louis, what they missed about Kansas City, what they were most looking forward to for their upcoming wedding day and more.
To catch the remaining moments of golden hour, we took a quick stroll into Forest Park to shoot at the bottom of the iconic Art Hill. Michael and Sam looked stunning against the setting sun, spring greens of the rolling hills, deep blues of the lake, and their dressy outfits. I loved that we were able to fit in a casual at-home look, a dressy/romantic look, and finally an all out banger of a look at The Muny. If this how we go all out for just engagement photos, I can't wait to see what this couple pulls together for their long awaited wedding day this summer in downtown Kansas City!
