Janurary 1 2022, was indeed a nice day for a White Wedding *cue Billy Idols White Wedding song here*!! That's right, I kicked off my 2022 season with Mr. and Mrs. Brett and Bryn White on a snowy winter wonderland kind of a wedding day. Believe it or not, this was my second winter wonderland type of wedding, the first one being published in The MOKA Knot Magazine in 2019. What I think set this wedding day apart from my other winter weddings, was how Brett and Bryn leaned into that classic winter wedding theme;
- Gold Accents
- Warm Furs and Black Satin
- Black and White Color Pallet
- Baby's Breath and White Roses galore
This winter wedding completely embraced the minimalism of the season and I loved every freezing second of it. Even more important to me than the vibe and aesthetic of their wedding at The Hawthorne House was how they incorporated their families and their love of Christ Jesus. The couple shared a powerful private vow reading in the chapel of The Hawthorne House, promising how they would put God first. They then shared they're last prayer as an engaged couple before saying I do at the altar. Later they would share communion for the first time as husband and wife. It was truly so inspiring to hear their loved ones speak about them as a whole and individually with how dedicated they both were to the Lord. To witness their families cry tears of joy during their first looks, ceremony, speeches, and more. There wasn't a moment of this wedding day where the Lord's love and presence weren't felt. I'm just in awe and so honored to have helped tell their story. Congrats Bryn and Brett on almost an entire year of marriage!
