Sometimes when writing wedding recap blogs it's really difficult to appropriately articulate how much love I have for these wedding days, and Matt and Stephanie's day undoubtedly falls into that category. I met this amazing couple all the way back in the summer of 2019 for a fun night full of photos, Kansas City exploring, and rooftop cocktails. I learned about their love of life, Chili's, and each other which all played a part in their October wedding day!
Matt and Stephanie were no strangers to having to navigate planning a wedding through a global pandemic. But the vendor team they pulled together were more than determined to see that their wedding day was everything they dreamed of more. The Hawthorne House in Parkville, MO was the perfect venue for this couples friends and family to gather safely, with plenty of space to social distance and options for an outdoor ceremony. This wedding day is easily one I could relive over and over and I'm pretty positive they would say the same. From the thoughtful gifts exchanged to one another, to Steph's Tik Tok video, to their emotional vow reading, special grandparents dance, and LED foam stick dance party, this wedding was absolute perfection! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Guenther for allowing me to play a small part in your wedding day, for preserving through the craziness of 2020, and for being more than clients, but friends. This Kansas City wedding was one for the books!
